MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA: The newly designed Florida Real Estate website, pastermackrealestate.com, was launched recently by the Pastermack Real Estate team.

Pastermack Real Estate logoThe Pastermack Real Estate site features MLS listings available in the Brevard County area, in places such as Cape Canaveral, Merritt Island, Viera and dozens of other cities in the Brevard MLS. Property searches can be performed by city, county and ZIP code. The interface chosen by the Pastermack Real Estate team is user-friendly and even offers three levels of search – basic, expanded and advanced, giving visitors to the site the flexibility to choose the level of complexity for their search.

Pastermack Real Estate’s website visitors also can read about local lifestyles and communities, find out how much their property is worth, explore Brevard by video and sign up for a free account to receive email updates on available properties.

Of course, if visitors have questions about properties or prefer to have a real estate professional to help them market or purchase a property, the Pastermack Real Estate team is ready to assist.

Hurricane Joaquin Drenches South Carolina

joaquin-noaa-radar-image-10-3-2015In this video, SC Gov. Nikki Haley says “We are at a thousand year level, um, of rain in parts of the lowcountry. So what does that mean? We haven’t seen this level of rain in the lowcountry in a thousand years…”

Hurricane Joaquin and the surrounding weather pattern inundated South Carolina with rain taking lives and causing billions of dollars of damage according to CNN post.

Apartments were looted, dams broke, people fled looking for safety from the storm. Rescues were made by Jeep, helicopter, boat and other ways to bring people to safety.

Some areas of South Carolina saw nothing more than heavy rains while others suffered washed out roads, bridges and broken dams with entire neighborhoods underwater.

Now is the time to rebuild, repair, console those who have lost friends and family and property, and prepare for next time. I for one will be looking into Hurricane Preparedness, and where and how to find information about local evacuations & shelters.

The post went on to say (as did NOAA’s tweet) that while the East Coast experienced cooler than average temps, the West Coast had warmer than average temps.
